360 Product Photography

PhotoSpherix provides professional 360 product photography services for manufacturers, ecommerce teams and brands—from one product to complete catalog programs.

Show what the customer needs to see

A product spin should answer buying questions—not simply make the product move.

PhotoSpherix photographs your products. We do not sell turntables, camera systems or software. Ship the products to our Indianapolis, Indiana studio, or talk with us about an on-site project when moving them is not practical.

The capture plan connects the product’s geometry and selling points to the places the imagery must work. A straightforward single-row rotation shows every side from one useful height. Multi-row photography adds elevated and lower viewpoints. Full 360×360 capture extends that exploration from the North Pole to the South Pole when nearly complete coverage provides meaningful information. One product is welcome, but our production workflow is especially valuable when dozens, hundreds or thousands of SKUs must remain consistent.

The practical starting point

Single-row 360 product photography

For most products, a single-row 360 provides the clearest and most efficient way to show every side. The camera stays at one useful viewing height while the product rotates through a complete circle. Customers can inspect shape, controls, connections, labels and construction without clicking through a disconnected image gallery.

Frame count is selected for the product and destination. Twenty-four frames may be right for a straightforward shape or constrained delivery specification. Forty-eight or seventy-two frames create smoother motion and provide more source angles for future stills or video. Single-row photography starts at $240 before quantity discounts.

Final pricing depends on product preparation, finish, retouching, frame count and deliverables.

More useful viewing angles

Multi-row 360 product photography

A single horizon line cannot reveal everything. Multi-row photography adds camera positions above and below the product, allowing the customer to move around it horizontally and vertically. It is useful when top controls, openings, underside geometry, interior details or overall form affect the buying decision.

A practical five-row capture with 24 images per row creates 120 source photographs. That adds production and finishing work, so we recommend it when the added elevation reveals features a single row cannot. Multi-row is often the strongest balance between a standard spin and a complete spherical capture.

Complete top-to-bottom exploration

Full 360×360 product photography

Some products genuinely need to be examined from nearly every direction. Full 360×360 photography gives the viewer horizontal and vertical control—the closest online equivalent to picking up the product and turning it in their hands. It is best suited to complex geometry, high-consideration products, technical objects and items whose top and bottom carry important information.

This is a specialized production rather than a routine upgrade. It requires many more camera positions, careful product support and substantially more post-production than a single-row spin. If multi-row coverage answers the same customer questions more efficiently, we recommend it. Full 360×360 earns its place when buyers need a continuous path from the top of the product through its sides to the underside.

Built for production

Consistent 360s across an entire catalog

Large product lists cannot be treated as hundreds of unrelated photo shoots. PhotoSpherix establishes a production standard with representative products, documents the approved look and keeps each SKU connected to its source imagery, review status and final deliverables.

Capture, processing and review can move at the same time. While one product is being photographed, prior products can process in the background and approved work can move into final export. Your team reviews products online, requests changes and approves imagery without managing attachments across long email chains. We then prepare the required file names, dimensions, formats and folder structures for your ecommerce platform, retailer, distributor, DAM or PIM. The result is consistent photography and a project your team can actually follow.

Beyond the tabletop

Large products and on-site production

Large products change the logistics as much as the photography. Shipping, loading access, assembly, weight, surface finish, staffing, rig size and repacking can all shape the project. Our Indianapolis studio has approximately 6,000 square feet, multiple capture stations, semi access, forklift handling and room to stage multi-pallet programs. PhotoSpherix has experience ranging from furniture and machinery to full-size vehicles.

When moving the product makes sense, the studio is usually the most efficient production environment. When it does not, we can bring a proven 360 workflow to your facility. PhotoSpherix operates the photography—we do not drop off equipment and ask your staff to become the production crew. Capture can happen on location while processing and quality control continue through Indianapolis.

More than a viewer

Useful masters and channel-ready deliverables

A 360 is a collection of organized product photographs, not a single locked file. Along with the interactive viewer, the source set can supply full-resolution product stills, retailer image sequences, derived 360 product video and future rich-media formats. One organized capture can therefore support product pages, sell sheets, distributor portals, A+ content and channel-specific exports without photographing the same angles again.

PhotoSpherix routinely prepares exports around written retailer, distributor and internal specifications. That can include exact pixel dimensions, file formats, background requirements, rotation direction, start frame, SKU-based naming and folder structures for DAM or PIM ingestion. We retain the relationship between every product and its source images, making it practical to create new channel packages later without asking your team to manually reorganize hundreds or thousands of files.

A clear production path

Plan. Capture. Review. Approve. Deliver.

We begin with the product list and intended use, establish the capture standard, receive or schedule the products, photograph and process them, perform internal quality control, publish the work for client review and deliver approved files to specification.

Part of a larger product-content system

360 Product Photography is one form of Product Rich Media.

Interactive rotations are often the strongest way to let shoppers inspect every side, but they do not have to work alone. PhotoSpherix can retain useful source frames, prepare selected still angles, derive controlled product motion and organize retailer-ready visual assets for product detail pages, DAM, PIM and syndication workflows.

We create the visual product content—not the software platform. Explore Product Rich Media production or send us the products and channel requirements to build the right capture and delivery plan.
