PhotoSpherix is a photography studio—not a hardware or software vendor. For more than 30 years, our job has been to take pictures of products and deliver useful, consistent interactive imagery. Every product follows a clear path.
The stages overlap on larger programs. While one product is being captured, another can be processing, a third can be under internal review and previously approved products can be moving into final delivery.

Plan the project
We start with the product list, product mix and where the imagery needs to go. You do not need to arrive with a finished photography specification. Tell us what you sell, how many SKUs are involved and what your customer needs to see; we will help define the capture plan.

Approve the production standard
For a multi-product program, representative products are photographed first. Together, we establish the angle, lighting, crop, rotation direction, frame count, background and supporting still-image requirements before the full catalog moves into production.

Ship products—or schedule on-site capture
Products can arrive at our Indianapolis, Indiana studio by parcel, pallet or full-size semi. A catalog can arrive at once or in planned waves. When a product is impractical to move, PhotoSpherix can bring a proven capture workflow to your facility.

Identify, prepare and capture
Each product is checked against the project list before photography begins. The operator prepares and positions the product, applies the approved treatment and captures the required single-row, multi-row or full 360 image set. Product identity stays connected to every source image throughout production.

Process while capture continues
Once a product is photographed, its approved settings move into background processing while the next product reaches the camera. Repetitive work can be automated, but the decisions that shape the product remain in the hands of experienced photographers.

Internal quality control
Automation finishing a file is not the same as a product being ready for your team. PhotoSpherix reviews the imagery before it is published, checking the rotation, product position, color, consistency, cleanup and required file set.

Review, request changes and approve
Your team reviews products online in a project-specific portal. Approve individual products, leave a clear change request and monitor progress without building an approval chain from email attachments. Rolling review lets decisions keep pace with production.

Export, deliver and return products
Approved products can move into final delivery while later products are still being photographed. PhotoSpherix prepares the exact image sizes, formats, names and folder structures required by your website, retailer, distributor, DAM or PIM. Product return, repacking or requested disposition follows the plan agreed at the start.

The right workflow is not always the same workflow.
A tabletop consumer product, a reflective machined component and a full-size vehicle do not need the same rig, handling plan or deliverables. We choose the practical route based on what customers need to see and how the imagery will be used.

Your reviewers can inspect the interactive product view, approve it or describe a needed change in the same place. On a larger catalog, this keeps feedback attached to the correct SKU and gives everyone a clearer picture of overall progress.
Approved work does not have to wait for the final product in the catalog. When the project requires it, completed products can be exported and delivered in rolling groups.
Before products arrive
Common project questions.
What do you need to prepare a quote?
Start with a product count, a short description of the product mix and where the imagery will be used. A SKU list, sample images, retailer requirement or existing style guide is helpful when available, but you do not need to solve the photography before contacting us.
Do all products need to arrive at once?
No. Smaller projects often ship together, while catalog programs may arrive by planned wave, pallet or product family. We will map receiving and production to your launch schedule and available inventory.
Can products ship directly from a factory or distributor?
Yes. Products can ship directly to the Indianapolis studio as long as the cartons and product identifiers can be matched to the project list. We will establish the receiving instructions before anything moves.
How do we choose 24, 48 or 72 frames?
Frame count depends on product geometry, desired smoothness, download requirements and future reuse. We recommend the useful level for the product and channel—not the largest number simply because it is available.
Can you meet retailer or DAM/PIM requirements?
Yes. PhotoSpherix routinely works from written requirements for file dimensions, format, rotation, naming and folder structure. We keep useful master imagery and build the required delivery exports from it.
What happens to products after photography?
Return shipping, repacking and any requested disposition are agreed before production. Clients generally arrange return freight; we can also coordinate an approved disposition plan when products do not need to come back.
