360 Product Video & Product Motion

One managed 360 capture can produce the interactive spin, a finished rotating MP4, selected still angles, thumbnails and channel-ready exports. PhotoSpherix helps manufacturers create the coordinated visual assets needed for product detail pages, retailer media and A+ product content without commissioning a separate shoot for every format.

01

What 360 product video actually is

A 360 product video is a linear presentation assembled from evenly spaced product photographs captured through a complete rotation. Unlike an interactive 360 viewer, the customer does not drag the product; the motion plays automatically as a conventional video. Because every frame comes from a controlled photography sequence, the product maintains consistent scale, position, lighting and color. The result is useful motion without requiring a separate live-action shoot for every SKU. PhotoSpherix creates the photography and prepares the finished video—we do not sell turntables, software or do-it-yourself capture systems.

02

Interactive 360 or video—or both

Interactive product photography gives the shopper direct control and is usually the strongest option when a product needs close inspection. Video is valuable when a retailer, marketplace, presentation system or social channel supports MP4 but cannot host an interactive sequence. Many programs benefit from both. The same approved source frames can power a draggable spin on the brand site and a controlled rotating video elsewhere. Planning both destinations before capture helps us choose frame count, start position, rotation direction, crop and master resolution intelligently.

03

Plan motion around the product

Playback should help the viewer understand the product rather than call attention to an effect. Simple products may read clearly in one steady rotation. Detailed objects may need slower motion, a pause on the front view or a back-and-forth loop that avoids an abrupt restart. Large or asymmetrical products require enough time for important features to remain visible. PhotoSpherix evaluates the product geometry, playback size, expected duration and destination so the motion feels deliberate and gives the customer enough time to inspect useful details.

04

Frame count, speed and smoothness

Source frame count affects both interactive smoothness and video flexibility. Twenty-four images may be appropriate for an efficient rotation, while 48 or 72 frames create smaller changes between views and allow smoother timing. More frames also provide more potential still angles, but they add capture, processing and retouching volume. We choose the source depth around the product and its uses rather than automatically specifying the largest number. The master sequence can then be timed to the requested duration and encoded at the playback frame rate required by the destination.

05

Photography quality still comes first

A video will reveal every inconsistency in the source sequence. A shifting product, changing crop, unstable shadow, flickering reflection or uneven cleanup becomes obvious once the frames move. Reflective, transparent, black and white products demand especially careful lighting because the complete studio relationship changes through the rotation. PhotoSpherix tests the photography through multiple angles, maintains alignment and scale, and performs sequence-level quality control. Smooth playback cannot rescue poor source photography; it simply makes the problems move.

06

Multiple deliverables are built into the process

A PhotoSpherix 360 project is planned as a source set, not a single isolated file. Along with the interactive rotation, we can deliver the included rotating MP4, selected still angles, thumbnails, retailer image sequences and alternate-size exports. Horizontal, square and vertical motion versions can be prepared when the composition and destination require them. One approved capture therefore supports richer product detail pages, retailer submissions, presentations, social channels, DAM and PIM workflows, and A+ product content while keeping the product presentation consistent across every output.

07

Retailer, DAM and PIM delivery

Every destination has its own practical rules. Video dimensions, aspect ratio, codec, duration, file size, filename and folder structure may be dictated by a retailer or internal asset system. The related image sequence may need a specific start frame, direction, count or naming convention. PhotoSpherix works from the written requirement and prepares organized exports for the retailer, DAM, PIM or agency workflow. When specifications are uncertain, we retain appropriate masters and create clearly separated delivery sets instead of treating one compressed output as the only asset.

08

How to scope a product-video project

Send a representative product image, product count, approximate dimensions and the places where the video will be used. Include any retailer specifications, required aspect ratios, duration limits, file-size limits, naming rules or examples of the desired playback. Tell us whether you also need an interactive 360 or individual still frames. PhotoSpherix will recommend the capture type and frame count, identify products that need special preparation, create an approval sample and define the exports before high-volume production begins. The goal is a repeatable motion standard that works across the complete catalog.
