This Newport Tower model was documented outdoors on location using a carefully controlled handheld 360 capture. The setting made a conventional studio rotation impractical, so the photography method was adapted around the object and its available environment.
The completed sequence lets online visitors inspect the model’s cylindrical form, openings, masonry treatment and structural details from every side. It demonstrates that museum and cultural-heritage 360 photography does not always require bringing an artifact into the studio; the capture plan can travel to the subject when access, scale or handling demands it.
On-location documentation also reduces unnecessary handling of fragile, installed or difficult-to-transport pieces. Before capture, PhotoSpherix evaluates access, background, light, camera movement and visitor or site constraints so the resulting sequence remains coherent despite the non-studio environment.
