360 Product Photography Specifications by Retailer

Every retailer asks for product imagery in a different way. Use this index to understand the current public requirements, identify the questions hidden inside vendor portals and plan one photographic master that can serve more than one sales channel.

A practical starting point

The destination changes the deliverable.

A “360” may mean 24 JPEGs in a ZIP, a three-row image set, a direct Media Library upload, a conventional video or—in Amazon’s case—a 3D model rather than photography. PhotoSpherix starts with the retailer, the product list and the customer’s own ecommerce needs, then photographs and packages the useful outputs.

Plan once; export deliberately

Do not let the smallest delivery file define the photography.

A manufacturer may need 24 frames for one retailer, 72 for another, still images for its PIM and a rotating video for a third channel. Capturing only the minimum can force a second shoot when requirements change. PhotoSpherix helps define a useful master capture, then creates channel-specific crops, frame counts, file sizes, names and packages.

We are photographers. We do not sell capture hardware or viewer software. We photograph the customer’s products, manage repeatable production and deliver the files each destination needs.

Let the experts handle the exports

One approved 360 can become every required delivery.

A 360 is not one image. It is a coordinated set of files whose frame order, row structure, crop, color, dimensions, compression, naming and folder structure all have to remain correct. PhotoSpherix works with these multi-file products day in and day out. We can generate the retailer-ready output without asking your ecommerce team to rename hundreds—or thousands—of frames by hand.

We retain the relationship between the product identifier and every source frame, then produce the exact derivative each destination requires. That makes a 24-frame Walmart set, a Lowe’s three-row package, owned-site viewer files, conventional stills and a rotating video different exports from one managed photographic source—not separate projects.

Requirements move

Use the date and confidence label on every guide.

Public retailer documentation, supplier portals, merchant instructions and syndication partners do not always say the same thing. Each guide states what was checked, when it was reviewed and whether the final delivery should be confirmed through a vendor-only system. Send PhotoSpherix the retailer request whenever one is available; it takes precedence over a public summary.
